Tsongkhapa is the great 15th Century Tibetan Buddhist Reformer and Founder of the Gelugpa School of Tibetan Buddhism

Dr. Robert A.F. Thurman is Jey Tsong Khapa Professor and founder of the Indo-Tibetan Buddhist Studies, Department of Religion at Columbia University. He is President of Tibet House US, and an internationally recognized authority on spirituality and Tibetan Buddhism. He is also an old and close friend of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Dr. Thurman is one of America’s leading authorities on Buddhism and Eastern philosophy. He is the author of numerous books, including a soon to be released new edition of his anthology, The Life and Teachings of Tsongkhapa, from Wisdom Publications. ID); $15 AFoT Members.
